Thomas Frank confirmed as Tottenham Hotspur coach until 2028

Frank brings a wealth of experience after seven successful years at Brentford, where he secured promotion in 2021 and consistently led the team to top-half Premier League finishes.
Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Thomas Frank as their new head coach, signing the 51-year-old Dane from Brentford on a three-year contract running until 2028.
The club reportedly triggered his £9–10 million (Approx Sh1.5 billion-Sh1.7 billion) release clause as part of a club-record compensation package.
Frank brings a wealth of experience after seven successful years at Brentford, where he secured promotion in 2021 and consistently led the team to top-half Premier League finishes.
His arrival follows the departure of Ange Postecoglou, who was relieved of his duties on 6 June despite delivering Europa League glory and Champions League qualification, due to an unexpectedly poor domestic campaign that saw Spurs finish 17th, just above the relegation zone.
The coaching team joining Frank in north London includes familiar faces from Brentford: Justin Cochrane (assistant coach), Chris Haslam (performance lead), and Joe Newton (analyst), along with Andreas Georgson arriving from Manchester United.
Frank is expected to instil a balanced tactical philosophy that blends possession-based football with defensive discipline—an evolution from Postecoglou’s more aggressive style.
His proven ability to develop players makes him a trusted choice, endorsed by supporters like Christian Eriksen.
